The Longhorns are due some serious revenging, and since they are currently riding high in the world of college football, a meeting between Alabama and Texas would draw some crazy big hype. Besides, at the rate we're stealing QBs from the Lonestar State, playing in Austin (or Dallas or Houston if we want to go the neutral site route) might sew up an entire recruiting class in one day.
I'm not going into near as much detail with the Longhorns as I did with Michigan and Southern Cal, if only for the fact that I only know we haven't beaten them and Joe Namath swears he crossed the goal line in the '65 Orange Bowl. But looking at the results of all the meetings, it's clear that there have been some great games played when these two teams meet. Of the eight meetings, the past five were in bowl games, and the past four have been decided by a TD or less. And besides, who wouldn't want to see this outside of Bryant-Denny?
