Cowboy QB Bobby Reid
Oklahoma State improved from 4-7 last season to 6-6 this year under second year head coach Mike Gundy. Gundy has the Cowboys running an option attack that has produced significant rushing numbers from several backs and has starting QB Bobby Reid the fourth leading rusher on the team. The Cowboys are second in the Big 12 in both scoring (35.3 ppg) and rushing (208.1 ypg) offense, and rank 8th in both categories nationally. They also rank 16th nationally in total offense with 409 ypg, 57 TDs, and an average of 6.36 yards per play. With him in the backfield are three RBs that have at least five hundred yards rushing and one 100 yard game.

QB Bobby Reid (#14)
Reid played in 7 games his freshman year before taking over as starter this season. He is 133 of 238 for 2054 yards passing (55.9% completion, 23 TDs, 10 INTs, 171.2 ypg) on the season, but is also the fourth leading rusher on the team. His 109 rushes have yielded 466 yards (long of 56) and 5 TDs. Though the Cowboys are considered an "option" team, Reid rarely pitches the ball to his RBs. As a result, he's been sacked 16 times for 111 yds. His best complete game came in the season ending loss to OU. Reid was 8 of 12 for 82 yards and 1 TD, while he also added a rushing TD.
QB Zac Robinson (#11)
In the latter part of the season, OSU took to using a two QB system more to further confuse defenses. Robinson has played in six games this year, completing 25 of 51 passes for 345 yards (49% completion, 3 TDs, 0 INTs, 57.5 ypg). He has also rushed 28 times for 139 yds and 1 TD. His best complete game was the blow out win over Baylor, when he completed 4 of 5 passes for only 35 yards but rushed 9 times for 90 yards and a TD. He also played extensively in the loss to Texas A&M, where he hit 7 of 16 passes for 94 yards and 3 TDs.
RB Dantrell Savage (#22)
Savage is the leading rusher on the team, gaining 708 yards on 107 carries for a 6.6 ypc average and 7 TDs in only 10 games. His best performance came in the loss to the Aggies when he carried the ball 13 times for 134 yards (10.3 ypc) and 1 TD. He also has three other 100 yard games and one 97 yard performance against Florida Atlantic.
RB Keith Toston (#5)
The freshman out of Angleton, TX has 97 carries for 573 yards for a 5.9 ypc average and 4 TDs under his belt this season, with a career high coming in the loss at Kansas State. Toston carried 14 times for 109 yards (7.8 ypc) and 1 TD. Toston also shined in the upset of Nebraska, averaging 8.5 ypc on 8 rushes.
RB Mike Hamilton (#29)
Hamilton, a sophomore, saw his production slip this season with his 97 carries down from the previous season's 193. Still, he managed 546 yards for a 5.6 ypc average and 4 TDs.
Unfortunately for us, the Cowboys aren't running a "pure" option offense and have a fairly balanced attack that could give our defense fits. While OSU ranks only 56th in the country (8th in the Big 12) in passing, QB Bobby Reid is also a passing threat, ranking 14th in the nation in passing efficiency and is behind only Colt McCoy of Texas in the Big 12 with a QB rating of 151.86. Further, six different receivers have hauled in at least one touchdown pass this season, with WRs Bowman and Woods and TE Pettigrew leading the team with 20 TDs and 1997 yards between them.
WR Adarius Bowman (#12)
Bowman is the leading receiver for the Cowboys, averaging 94.3 ypg in a run oriented offense. He's caught 57 passes for 1131 yards and 11 TDs in 12 games this season, and had a career high day in the win over Kansas when he caught 13 passes for 300 yards and 4 TDs. He is currently second in the Big 12 behind Texas Tech WR Joel Filani (who has just 7 more yards than Bowman) in receiving yards, and ranks 9th in the country in receiving yards per game.
WR D'Juan Woods (#84)
Woods is the second leading receiver on the team, catching 38 passes for 621 yards and 5 TDs. His best day was in the season ending loss to OU, where he hauled in 6 passes for 95 yards and 1 TD.
TE Brandon Pettigrew (#87)
The third leading receiver on the team is TE Brandon Pettigrew, who has caught 20 passes for 245 yards and 4 TDs this season. His best game was the loss at Kansas State where he caught four for 58 yards and 1 TD.
